Talking to HoB, the girl featured in the post shared her tale of being raised in a small city and having never traveled to the arena or taken a day off.
She discovered that things had changed as her husband and they determined they could travel plenty when she was married. Even though she identified with breast cancer, they moved to all their preferred destinations around the sector.
“I was born in a small metropolis and had nine siblings. So, growing up, we had limited manners. I had never traveled, explored, or maybe taken a day without work.
Things changed after I got married. My husband and I met on the day of our marriage, and one of the first things he asked me was if I had traveled. I advised him that I didn’t even have a passport. However, he said, ‘ We’ve got to make you one because collectively, we’re going to travel the world.’
Both folks had very stressful jobs — but we decided to travel at least twice every 12 months. Our first journey was to Darjeeling, where we went for our honeymoon. We were at the bus; it had commenced raining very heavily. The window changed to open, so the water stored coming in. He noticed that and tried to close the window but ended up breaking it during the procedure. The entire bus became full, so we had to sit down for 12 hours, with the rainwater spilling onto us! We had been soaking wet by the time we reached it, but we just laughed it off!
We’ve been to places like Kathmandu, Shimla, and Delhi. We’ve had to sleep on our suitcases because we overlooked trains, and we’ve had to spend hours stranded in the middle of nowhere because our buses have broken down. But it’s all been worth it!
This one time, we had been on our manner to Badrinath; however, midway, we realized that the course ahead turned blocked. It became past due night, and there was no manner in which we could pressure again. So our tour manual organized our stay at a nearby house. The vicinity was so eerie that I became terrified, and the whole night, we could hear a weird sound — it changed like someone turned outdoors. But in the morning, we realized it evolved into just the sound of water hitting the rocks!
