Dessert Recipes

Chocolate Chip Cookies

Chocolate chip cookies are delicious. They are easy to make and only require a handful of ingredients. In addition, these treats are perfect for any season. Nowadays, people can’t go anywhere without seeing a bakery selling chocolate chip cookies. But did you know you can make your own?

Not only are homemade cookies better, they are much cheaper than buying them.

Pecan Cookies

1/4 cup butter

3/4 cup sugar

One egg

1/2 cup pecan pieces

One teaspoon vanilla extract

2 cups flour

1/4 teaspoon salt

Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

Mix butter, sugar, egg, and vanilla extract.

Add pecans and mix well.

Sift flour and salt into the mixture.

Combine until the dough forms a ball.

Form dough into balls and place onto a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake for 15 minutes.

Remove from oven and allow to cool.

Frozen Yogurt

Summer is here, and that means ice cream season is upon us. We all know frozen yogurt is delicious, but did you know it can be made into various flavors? You can make your frozen yogurt with no sugar added. You can make it with fruit, nuts, and different other ingredients. It’s also a great way to use up any leftovers from your breakfast.

Cheese Brownies

Brownies are one of my favorite desserts to bake. I’ve made many variations, but these are my favorite. They’re packed with chocolate and cheese, making them a great treat. These brownies are simple to make, but they do require some planning ahead. You’ll need to chill the dough for at least 12 hours and then bake them at 350°F for 30 minutes. If you don’t chill the dough, it will not be as moist as if you cooled it first. I also recommend you use a brownie pan, which makes the brownies easier to cut.

Pumpkin Pie

This classic American dessert tastes better than ever, thanks to the combination of pumpkin, spices, and cream. If you are looking for something different, try this recipe.

  • 1½ cup butter
  • 1¾ cups brown sugar
  • Two eggs

  • 1 tsp nutmeg
  • ½ tsp ginger
  • ¼ tsp cloves

  • 3½ cups pumpkin puree
  • 1/3 cup milk

Preheat oven to 350° F.

Melt butter and add brown sugar.

Beat until smooth.

Add eggs and mix well.

Mix spices and pumpkin puree, then add to the butter mixture.

Mix well.

Slowly add milk, mixing well.
